Testimonials
“I truly believe that my time at VNS was one of the most formative experiences of my early childhood. Everything from the long, thoughtful nature walks to the class book reading, to the playground time helped put me on the path that I am on today. All of the lessons and morals that I learned here served me well, and will continue to do so throughout college and beyond.” Alex Hill, Bromfield class of 2016, VNS class of 2003

“I have been so happy with VNS- my child is incredibly happy to go to school every day and I have complete trust in the teachers to provide a caring and educational environment. My child has grown tremendously in terms of communication, reading/writing/math and interpersonal skills. I think it is a direct result of the quality of instruction provided in the classroom.” VNS parent 2016

“I Have no doubts that The Village Nursery School did everything right when it came to making sure that I could be comfortable and look forward to coming to school every day, not just in the immediate present, but also in the future.” Nicholas Steele, Bromfield class of 2016, VNS class of 2003

“Village Nursery School nurtures children and their families as they start the formal educational process. Both my son and daughter have loved their experience and grown tremendously –demonstrating increased independence, confidence and self-directed exploration. As a parent, I have felt welcomed into the classroom and involved in the day to day projects and lessons. Communication between teachers and families is strong and enables partnership. The fresh energy and vision of the school’s leadership is apparent as one walks through the door. I have enjoyed the families that I have met and have made lasting friendships through the VNS community.”

“I really like that the teachers made me feel special. I loved playing blocks with my friends. I think VNS is really nice and a really good school. I’m really good at stuff in Kindergarten because I learned a lot at VNS. I learned to write and draw. My sister is still at VNS, and I think she really likes it. I had a lot of field trips. We went to the post office, the art museum, to Kimball’s, apple picking. I miss school because there is a lot and a lot and a lot of fun. There were a lot of kids that became my good friends. The teachers became a lot of my friends, too.”

“After visiting many nursery schools I fell in love with Village Nursery School. After having two children attend the school my favorite quality of the school is that it was able to meet both of my children’s needs even though they are both very different. The school does not have one way of thinking. The teachers are able to adjust their methods based on the population of the class in order to serve their needs. My two very different children both had very positive and nurturing experiences in the same school.”
